Tuesday 12th July 2016. More rain on an already saturated landscape.
We've just spent a large portion of the day trying to divert huge volumes of water off the paddocks and into drains & waterways. Fortunately the brewery doesn't lie in the path of any of the offending water, keeping it high & dry. The same can't be said for areas of the wheat, barley and forage crops we have on the property. Can't say we've ever had a waterfall on the place before! Its certainly gumboot season outside, see the below photos of the amount of water flowing over the ground.
